Adelaar is a 38-meter Dutch schooner operating intimate liveaboard voyages across Indonesia’s most renowned dive regions. Restored to high standards, she accommodates only eight guests in four elegant staterooms with ensuite facilities and air conditioning, creating a quiet and unhurried atmosphere throughout each journey.
Warm teak interiors and wide deck areas reflect the vessel’s classic character, while a dedicated crew of 12, including two experienced dive guides, ensures smooth operations both above and below the surface. The small guest capacity allows for flexible dive planning and a more personalized daily schedule.
With over 30 years of continuous operation in Indonesian waters, Adelaar is one of the region’s longest-running liveaboards. Her itineraries follow seasonal diving conditions, covering Raja Ampat from October to April, Komodo from May to September, the Banda Sea and Ring of Fire during transitional months, and Triton Bay in November.
Diving remains central to the experience, with Nitrox available to certified divers, while snorkeling sites are selected for vibrant marine life at accessible depths. Adelaar maintains a refined balance between exploration and comfort, delivered in a genuinely small-group setting.
